Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA)
Founded in 2005 via merging the First and Second Tashkent State Medical Institutes (originally from 1920/1931), TMA is Uzbekistan’s premier public medical academy — a center for Medical education, Research, and Postgraduate Training.

- Roots from 1920; present structure formed July 19, 2005; officially accredited in 2008 .
